Frequently Asked Question
If you have a question regrading our bespoke pet furniture that is not answered below, please use our contact form to reach out to us!

  • What is your furniture made from?
All our furniture is made from high-grade sustainably sourced FSC approved redwood which is 100% natural wood, with oak worktops and moisture resistant board used for the backs and bases. Our drawers are made from solid Oak with dovetail joints. We use Farrow & Ball paints in Eggshell which are suitable for wood and made with a water base. That means they're safer, faster drying, lower in odour, scuff and stain resistant and wipeable! Our Lilly bedroom has been designed with a more modern finish in mind, and is made from 18mm Egger MFC.
  • Does your furniture arrive assembled?
All of our furniture arrives fully assembled. Please take into consideration crate sizes when placing an order with us. Take into account the width of any internal doorways and access points into your home such as your front door. It is advised to allow a little additional space to the crate dimensions to allow for the item being packaged and manoeuvring through doorways. Our furniture is carefully packaged. All packaging used can be responsibly recycled.
  • I like the crate designs in your shop, but would prefer a different colour, is that possible?
If there is an alternative Farrow & Ball colour that you would prefer, there is the option to have this for an additional £80. Simply leave us a note in the additional information section at checkout confirming what colour Farrow & Ball paint you require. You will receive an email from us regarding how to make payment for this additional extra. Payment methods include BACS, cheque and by credit card. Farrow & Ball colours: Signature Palette (farrow-ball.com) Other popular luxury brands that we can include for the additional £80 include Craig & Rose, Laura Ashley, Little Greene and Dulux Heritage! Alternatively, if you require a different brand of paint to colour match to your home furnishings, we use a reputable paint company who can colour match and mix into thousands of colours including popular brands. This service is also included in the price of the crate. Message us before purchase for more information!
  • How long will it take for my order to be dispatched?
All of our furniture is handmade to order. From placing an order to dispatching may take up to 12 weeks depending on demand at the time. Our Elvis bedroom takes up to 5 weeks to be dispatched. We will contact you near completion regarding your delivery window. Our courier will be informed when your item is ready and packaged and they will call you directly to arrange a delivery date.
  • How are your large items delivered and where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to mainland UK excluding the Highlands Scotland. Delivery for items purchased from our online store costs £75. For bespoke custom made products delivery may cost more but we will provide a quote for this when pricing your custom build. If you live in Scotland, please message us first so we can ensure that our courier delivers to your area. We use a reputable courier who is experienced in delivering large items and rated excellent on Trust Pilot. Upon us informing them that your crate has been packaged and is ready to dispatch, they will directly call you in advance to arrange a delivery date and then inform ourselves what day they will collect from us. On the day they will deliver the crate to your front door. Due to the size of the crate, there will need to be someone present to assist the driver to unload and carry to your door. You will receive a pre delivery phone call from the driver on the day of delivery with a ETA. PLEASE NOTE, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are at home on the delivery day you have arranged with the courier. If you have been given an ETA, please take into consideration if the driver experiences any transportation delays with travelling from Chester, it is your responsibility to wait in during the delivery day provided, or arrange to have another person be there to accept delivery that day. Failure to be at home when delivery is attempted will result in the item being returned to us as it is to large to leave anywhere . Any costs then charged to Pawardise for returning the item and any redelivery fee will both be at a cost to yourself. Rather than pay postage, if you are local to Chester, collection can be arranged at no additional charge. Please message us to discuss in detail before making your purchase.
  • Do you accept returns?
Due to all of our orders including the customisable ones on our website being bespoke made, we cannot accept returns. the exception is if the product is found to be damaged or defective. We therefore advise you to ensure you have carefully measured the space your furniture is to go and taken into consideration access points and allowed additional space to manoeuvre your furniture through doors.
  • What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Our products are handmade to the highest standards and carefully packaged. In the unlikely event your furniture arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to allow us to resolve.
  • What aftercare do you recommend?
Our furniture is wipeable and water resistant. We advise to wipe clean using a damp microfibre cloth. It is advised if placing drinks on top of your furniture, to use a coaster.
  • Is your furniture chew proof?
Our furniture is intended to be a safe resting space for your pet. Like any kind of wooden furniture, we are not able to guarantee our crates are 100% chew proof. We would recommend providing your pet with suitable chew toys to occupy them.
  • I would like to speak with someone, can I do that?
